“Pink India” – India is Nicola’s daughter who loves anything PINK! Part of the inspiration for creating our range was the lack of good quality, inspiring children’s gifts. Having children herself, Nicola’s focus was to add some style to the practicality of parenting hence the range of handy, wash proof bags and children’s aprons. All of our products are thoroughly tested by our team – India, Harriet, Thomas and Will (and a lot of their friends!).

We have had a busy 2006 - in addition to launching the Pink India site we have had yet another addition to the family - Zachary born 7th November 2006 !!

So, we are now developing more products for boys , so more things blue to come in Summer 2007. This will include a range of Robots for boys and girls aged 8-12 years.

Pink India is a company dedicated to creating and producing innovative children’s gifts. Our team has sourced and exclusively designed all the products available - Pink India products are not available in the shops...

Nicola trained as a textile designer and graduated with BA hons in printed textiles from the University of Derby in 1991. She has worked on children’s ranges for Marks and Spencer, BHS, Harrods and many other high street brands. She has also illustrated a range of children’s books called Relax Kids by Marneta Viegas – all of which encapsulate Nicola’s unique style www.relaxkids.co.uk.

All of the Pink India products are hand made from Nicola’s original design drawings and concepts. It takes an average of twelve months to get a product from concept to finished piece delivered to our warehouse. During this time we may see twenty pre-production samples.

Our quality controls are stringent and each piece is checked before despatch.

Happy House

Happy House is an Australian brand sold exclusively, at present, by Pink India in the UK. Pink India’s design team has selected the products that complements it’s own range of children’s gifts. We may decide to include more Happy House products in 2006. Please watch our homepage for news of new products.
